Maharajas College Crowns in M.G University Youth festival

The prestigious government institution, Maharajas college of Ernakulam was crowned in the MG university youth festival held in PathanamthittaIn the five day silver jubilee youth festival, Maharajas College bagged 110 points with a clear supremacy over the runners up St.Theresas college who bagged 78 points. RLV college of music and Fine arts, thrippunithura got the third prize.

Sri. K.N Raghu(Maharajas) got the Kalaprathibha and S.Anjanadevi of CMS college Kottayam got Kalathilakom.

The standards of the competitions were lower than previous years. Also in items like mimicry and mono act old numbers were tried again and again.

The festival was organized after a break of six years. Sri.M. Vijaya Kumar, Minister for sports and youth welfare, gave the prizes away.Earlier the fest was inagurated by M.A Baby,Minister for education
