Munnar is one of the most beautiful hill stations in Kerala.
Situated about 130 kilometers from Cochin, and 100 kilometers from Nedumbassery airport,
it is magnificent with tea estates, greeny hills and valleys.
The Scenes in munnar will dumbfound a new visitor. The ever-changing sky, comfortable climate, unending streches of hills etc are seductive.

Very near is Devikulam which is also a well known tourist spot. There are many stone huts used by early rishies (saints) there.
Also the echo point, where you can hear the trees repeat your words is attractive.

Rajamala, famous for a very rare species of goats, and neelakkurinji is also very near. The stay and food in Munnar is not at all a problem because
many fine restaurants are there. But you may have to book in advance.

The kanan devan tea estate, the one that was established by British is a place to visit. Also If you are willing to travel a bit you can get into many other points like Koviloor and Marayoor.
Munnar has a hospital by tata and a government engineering college.
