Where are we moving to?

we keralities have a passion of boasting about the way we are brought up; but does that remain a boasting alone?Last day as I made myself on to the red giant bus to go to kalamassery for a casual visit,I was happy that the bus was not crowded.But soon the bus was packed up with people.
Just then an old woman who reminded me of my mothers age boarded the bus.No body was there to get up for her.All the young lady passengers were pretending to look outside as if they didnot notice her.The incident ended up in an old man getting up and giving her the space just behind the ladies seat(which are reserved)...................
we are being taught to respect the old and help the fellow beings in our school days.But after that????? I feel as kids grow up they become more and more selfish and they dont care about anybody else?Can this tendency be overcomed? I think that should again be started from home itself.But new era parents dont get time for all that ;still they should find some time to help their kids to come to the right track.Afterall life is not a one man business....................
