World Cup Cricket : Dreams and Expectations

Kerala is in cricket fever now. Even the streets and buses are full of cricket talk. In addition, for the first time in the history, keralites play in the world cup. Great expectations are in our mind regarding all these. We dream India holding the world cup once again after a very long gap.

The world cup is a limited over game, in which each match consists of one innings of fifty overs for each team. This is very fast cricket, also called one day cricket in contrast to the five day test pattern. The cup is played in eight venues.
The 16 participating teams are divided into 4 groups. India is in group B together with Bangladesh, Bermuda and Sri Lanka.

Team India is lead by Rahul Dravid, and experienced players like Sachin, sevag, Ganguly and Yuvaraj are in the team. In addition, many young players including our Sreesanth and Robin Uthappa are in the team.

Australia, Newzeland, south Africa, England, West Indies and Pakistan are some of the strong teams in the fray.
Let us wish team India the best and dream for a cup.

India Lose To Bangladesh

In the First match of the world cup, Bangladesh Scored their victory over india.
India were all out for 191, and Bangladesh scored 195-5 with a thrilling five wicket victory.
