State awards declared:Lal best actor ,meera jasmine best actress

The kerala state film awards came as a surprise to nobody.Mohanlal once again was declared the best actor for his superub perfomance in Paradesi.He acted as an 80-year old Malayali who has to fight to live in his own native place.
Meera jasmine won the best actress award for her perfomance in ore kadal.

best film award was bagged by M G Sasis Adayalangal (Signs). The director also won an award for best direction.

Murali won the awrd for the best supporting actor.

Jagathy sreekumar got a special refernce from jury for his acting in various films.
