Satate TV Awards 2008: Ganesh Kumar Best actor, Meera Vasudev best actress,Valsalan Vathuserry Best scriptwriter

The kerala state TV awards were announced recently.K.B.Ganesh kumar was selected as the best actor for his role in Madhavam, Surya TV and meera vasudev as the best actress for her role in Kanalppoov serial in Kairali TV. ‘Daya’ has won the award for the best tele-series, ‘Typewriter’ for the best tele-film and ‘16 mm: Memories, Movements and Machine’ for the best documentary P. Shajahan (Asianet News) has won the award for the most socially relevant programs.

S.sarachandran (kairali T.V) was selected as the best news reader.John Brittas (Kairali TV) and Johny Lukose (Manorama News) both shared the best interviewer awards.R. Sreekantan Nair (Asianet)was selected best compere for trhe historical debate seris Nammal thammil.Manjush Gopal (Asianet News) won the award for best investigative journalist.Raj Kalesh (Amrita TV) was selected as the best anchor.

Also the following awards were declared. second best tele-film: Annayude Lillippookkal (Surya TV, director: Ansar Khan), best scriptwriter: Valsalan Vathussery (Typewriter), best story writer: Satheesh K. Satheesh (Pookkalil Manjuveezhumpol, Asianet). Best supporting actors: Irshad (Madhavam), Meera Nandan (Veedu, Surya TV), best child artiste: Baby Gouri Pramod (Annayude Lillippookkal), best cinematographer: Jaleel Badusha (Typewriter), best editor: Rajesh Thrissur (Annayude Lillippookkal), best music director: Sanand George (Danny, The Mandrake, Asianet), best sound recording: C.R. Chandran (Veedu), best art director: J. P. Chittarikkal (Typewriter), special jury award for actor: Balakrishnan Pappinissery (Typewriter).
