Mammooty is a superstar in kerala. He had done many police roles including inspector Belram, Sethuramayyar and so on. All these roles are famous too.Now mammooty takes the role of a detective who comes from Delhi to investigate a murder with a difference.

In the movie based on the novel "paleri manikyom murder" mammooty investigates the murder of a girl 50 years back.After 50 years,the mrderer and the places have changed a lot. But the psychology does not change.
