Search engine optimization (SEO) is a very important term in the current day scenario. What does SEO
mean? What are the advantages of SEO?What are some of the techniques used in SEO? These are the topics I would like to tell you in this article.

Every site will want to get traffic.You build a site mainly for others to see. But how does others know that such a site is there?If they do not know,how do they come to your site?

People find sites by searching in google or yahoo or a similar search engine.These search engines
crawl the sites and collect information about the content. Based on that and some other factors they give a ranking to the site.

If your sites ranks higher for a particular keyword, then the site will come up when a user searches google for that keyword and this will automatically increase the traffic.

In SEO,we are modifying the structure and content of your site,and these other factors that google uses so that your site ranks top in search engines.

There are many techniques for SEO.First and foremost is analysing your site and optimize uts various fields and structure for the keywords.Then we may try to increase the links to the site,freshen the content in the site and so on.
